Easter egg hunting *smile*

SOMETIMES I HATE THE INTERNET!!!!!!!!

Now that is over, I'll rewrite what I'd written yesterday, though I don't remember it. :( Oh well, I will survive.

This past weekend was fun, although I think the best part was the Egg Hunt on Saturday, or at any rate, it was funny. It started at lunch. We went to Jay and Kristi's (our Sunday School teachers) for the "annual Egg Hunt", but not like I would know since I've only been in this town since July. Mike taught me many of the ropes. Sarah taught me some, but I'm still new to some areas of life here. Back to the hunt. I was wearing a spring green tank top and my denim capris. I went running around trying to find some eggs, but they were hidden in places everyone knew. Even Sarah knew where at least three of them were hidden! I just saw one and while I ran to get it I fell, and Joe got it first. Then Mike decided he'd laugh at me, and I of course was already laughing. I looked on my backside and saw that my rear was covered with grass-stains. Mike fell running toward the rose bush, which wasn't a smart thing to do, since there are thorns on the bush, and he ran and slid and got thorned in the side as he fell. Got to wonder where he got his brains. Nevertheless, he got the egg. But he gave it to me. I gave up on even trying so I went inside to help Kristi fix some food for the mass of juniors and seniors that decided to storm her house. I loved the feeling I got while helping, even though some of the things she cooked, hot cross buns, needed no help. The lasagna was delicious and the salad I made was superb. Kristi said she appreciated my help, and I told her I was just using my gift. She smiled and I was happy. I noticed that Naomi was sitting by herself inside. I asked her what was wrong and she just started telling me her problems and then I prayed for her. I love the way God worked!

Alas, I must go (I just love that word!! Alas!)
