I don't like slambooks. They cause hurt. I don't like hurt.
Speaking of hurt, my best MSN/AIM/YIM buddy is hurting because of a past she can't help... She has a lot of pain and I don't know how to help her. Me, Miss Counselor can't help someone that I have learned to trust when she needs the most. So what can I do? I still spout out my advice which I creatively gather in the weirdest places. I know that Lion King might not have the best advice all the time, but it's great. You can learn from a Baboon in that movie. **mimicks Rafiki (which means friend in swahili!)** "Yes, the past can hurt." It's just a part of one of my many favorite scenes from that movie. So why then does the past hurt?
I wish we could just forget the past. But then, the past is done with, we can't do anything to change it. We can learn from it but can't change it. The future... We can't really change that either, oddly enough because if you think about it, the future has practically been written for us, like we're reading a book and don't know how it ends and we want to know but we can't imagine doing that because we're so caught up in the moment. Tha's the future. God has it under His control. SO I guess we can only really worry about today... now, like now, Tree63 is on Air1. But why should we worry? God is in control, living and breathing, in this very moment. We could die, and then, we would either be in an awesome place or be in a dreadful place filled with no joy, no smiles, nothing good. We may think this world seems like that at times, but it's not! There is still good in this world. We just have to find it and look for it. Why not just say, "God IS SOOO good!"
And, I need to go... I'm watching A Walk To Remember for the gazillionth time. "His love is like the wind. You can't see it, but you know it's there."
